The Anna Wulf Bed and Breakfast is a 110 year old Victorian-style home located at 622 "J" St in Crescent City, California (25 miles from Brookings, Oregon). The home was built by Richard Hanson, a contractor, in 1896, than sold to William and Anna Wulf, who the Bed and Breakfast is named for. William passed away in 1925 and, Anna lived alone in the home, taught English at Del Norte High School and gave music lessons in the front parlor of the home for 42 years with her companion, an Irish setter named Victor, who was quite a "character" in town.

The story of Victor goes like this, Anna would put a grocery list and money in a basket which Victor would take to the grocery store, the storekeeper would put the items in the basket with change, and send Victor on his way, on one particular occasion a loaf of bread fell out of the basket and Victor picked it up with his teeth and carried it home, forgetting the rest of the basket on the street.

The Anna Wulf Bed and Breakfast is one of the few Victorian-style homes in Northern California to feature weddings, anniversaries, reunions, dinner theater, birthdays, holiday parties, tea parties etc...

The two upstairs bedrooms, the "Mayor's suite" and the "Mistress suite," share a tub/shower bathroom, the Mayor's room is adorned with top-hats and pictures of mare horses, reminiscent of the turn of the century smoking rooms where men would adjourn to after dinner. The mistress room is much more feminine with pink and red walls, a Victorian chaise lounge, Victorian fringe lamps and feathers. Don't forget to read the license on the door. These two bedrooms suites have queen size beds and rent for $100 per night.

Our third upstairs bedroom has its own entrance and is elegantly named our "Anna Suite" or the "honeymoon suite", it is adorned with a wedding dress and veil plus wedding pictures of old, this bedroom suite with a queen size bed, has it own bathroom with claw foot tub and rents for $150 per night.

We are pleased to introduce you to our "William Suite", a fully ADA approved bathroom/bedroom suite with a queen size Murphy bed. We have done extensive ADA remodeling to our Victorian-style home including ADA approved ramps, front and back of our Victorian-style bed and breakfast. This suite rents for $125.

Breakfast is usually served between 8:30 and 9:30 A.M. in either our parlor or in our upstairs kitchen, our innkeeper Paula has prepared a delicious breakfast menu for your pleasure. Check in time is 1:00P.M. check-out time at 12 noon.
